Having a passionate curiosity about people, Michael Wolf (1954 - 2019) began his career as a photojournalist. For his final exam as a student, Wolf submitted a series of photographs taken in the coal mining town of Bottrop-Ebel, located in Germany s Ruhr District, over the course of continuous visits he made to the area in 1976.
